As far as products go, they have everything from cheese to whipped cream, cheesecakes to all natural sodas, salmon to pizzas, pastas to wines, and dog food to laundry detergent. Sometimes they even have samples of their featured products of the week. The prices are reasonable and sometimes even cheaper than if you went to buy something similar in nature at a local grocery store. You can fill a hand basket there and expect to only shell out about $30-45. Go to Schnucks and you are likely to dent your wallet another $10 to $15 and of course, not have as great of products.
Thanksgiving is coming up, they have all the fixins you need: green beans, mashed potatoes, gravy, cornbread, stuffing...and chances are you will pay less and have your body much more satisfied. A couple of my personal favorite products are the Lemon Grass Rolls, the Spinach Artichoke Dip, and the Cherry Cider. As far as products not made for consumption: the Tea Tree line. Some may know this line to be similar to that sold at Great Clips or Custom Cuts, however, it contains all natural products (as opposed to harsh chemicals) and is about one fifth of the cost!
For those of you not into the whole natural scene, they do have beer and wine. I have tried several and really have not been disappointed with anything I've bought. They also sell flowers if you are on your way to a date or just want to surprise your significant other.
Another great thing about Trader Joes is the fact that they encourage and reward those who bring their brown paper bags back. I have yet to win anything from their raffles, however, I have a feeling I will be in luck soon as I have about 50 bags I need to return.
