I have been to Lumiere a couple of times and enjoyed my experience. I am not the real lucky type, but I came out ahead one of the two times I went. I came with about $50 and left with around $100. Drinks are not too overpriced either.

This review is for the Burger Bar within the Lumiere Place, located just before you get carded for your age. I had heard good things about this place so I gave it a try. Basically this is a joint that serves you any kind of burger, aside from "ham", you can choose variations of "ham" (such as angus, kobe, etc.), chicken or salmon. You get to choose the type of bun and whatever toppings you want for individually selected prices. For 2 people here is what we ordered: 1 corn-fed cow meat burger (forgot their name of it), with a ciabatta bun, pepper jack cheese and bacon. It came with lettuce, tomato, regular red onion slices and pickle spear. We also got an angus burger with a ciabatta bun, cheddar and bacon and for the side: skinny fries and onion rings. To drink: 1 water, 1 iced tea. Total bill was over $30. The burger quality itself was better than that of your local Applebees, however, the fries, onion rings and toppings probably were distributed by the same folks that ship Applebee's food. Its nice if you do not expect anything classy but I cannot say it was worth the price. We could have gone to Applebees and done the 2 for $20 and had the same thing for less.

Located within walking distance from the river, the Lumier Place offers class, drinks, burgers and plenty of options for your gambling needs. The tables are hopping, the slots actually do pay out (not much, but enough to keep you hopeful!), and the staff seem very attentive to your needs.

The Good Clean, stocked bathrooms; small pay outs but plenty of them!
The Bad Alcohol is pricey ($9 for a Martini!)

I hate to be the negative nancy kind of guy but I have got to say that this hotel/casino sucks. Lets start with the casino, if you want to go to the casino make sure you do not drink before hand because they will not let you in at all. My experience(a couple of my friends and my self had about 4 beers before we went to the casino and as my friend "beaner" was pulling out his I.D. he dropped his wallet. they to him right as it happened "sir, you are intoxicated and you and all your friends will not be allowed in the casino"). Now for the hotel side of things. We payed $200 for a plain jane hotel room and as a friend was about to come up the enterance staff stopped him and told him that if his name was not registered to the hotel room he would not be let beyond the main hallway. I personally had to come down and name drop to let them allow our friend to come up to the hotel room. Then we purchased a 12 pack and was going to bring it up to the room and got the "you have to take the beer back to your car, we don't allow that here" kind of shit. At first I was going to give them a rating of 2 but now that i think about it I am going to say I need to give them the lowest possible.
